• Roadblock No. 3. You work hard and offer a great service. Everybody loves it! But you are not generating the money you need to live comfortably.
   

• Roadblock No. 4. You are burned out, but you still cannot make your project visible enough that it takes off.
   

• Roadblock No. 5. You are jinxed! Every day you work like crazy, and everyday there is a new obstacle. People around you are incompetent. Your friends or family don't support you. There is drama, chaos and confusion. Why can't things be simple?
   

If you checked any of the roadblocks above, take a look at some of the hidden emotions, expectations or beliefs that may be affecting your capacity to manifest your dream.

If you answer yes, in what Fairy Tale are you trapped?

NO. 1 ROADBLOCK

Caretaking. No doubt. You are Cinderella. You need to give more and more. Nothing you do for others is enough. You are the extra in the movie of your life, and everybody else is the protagonist. Shake off the ashes. Time is the fairy godmother that will make you the Queen. Call on it as an ally.

NO. 2 ROADBLOCK

Perfectionism. This definitely sounds like you are trapped inside the castle of the Beauty and the Beast. The beauty creates amazing gifts and projects. She has so much talent and love! Her gifts are definitely needed in the community. But the Beast doesn't trust what she has to give. The perfectionist in you keeps trying to make everything perfect, working alone, by herself, without help. And nothing is good enough! Tame the beast. Find allies outside that old, rigid castle of your perfectionist standards. Set up realistic parameters and celebrate each tiny achievement on your way to your final goals.

NO 3 ROADBLOCK

A. Secret feelings of not being enough. You are afraid to charge for the true value of your product or work, and end up giving it for too little. There may be a hidden belief or old emotion within you that makes you feel undeserving of charging "that much." You may be secretly suffering from the Little Orphan Annie self-sabotage syndrome. Self-mother yourself to nurture your Little Orphan Annie into the blooming, magical child of your creativity.

B. Negative expectations. Like the people of Hamelin in the Pied Piper story, you may be surrounded by the rats of your own negative expectations. You are so sure that no one will pay the price or salary for what you offer, that you are giving it for less. If you don't honor the Pied Piper, you may end up like Hamelin, losing the children of your creativity. Listen to the beautiful music of your own creativity and gifts. Appreciate its value and trust that others will do the same.

NO 4 ROADBLOCK

A. Self-effacement. You may be afraid to really occupy your space in the world. There is a part of you that is still in hiding, though you really want to shine in the world and make your gifts available to a vast number of people. This part of you that keeps you trapped in a small radius may be like Rapunzel, still singing from the Witch's Tower. Fear of visibility makes it very scary to leave the tower. Start with the mane of your passion and braid it with strategy. Your path out of the tower must be given step-by-step.

B. Fear of change. Perhaps behind your inability to make it big, there is a tiny part of you that is Chicken Little. She believes that something really bad will happen if she has it really good. That the world out there is dangerous. Fear builds up, and you find a way to sabotage your growth. The sky is not falling! Learn how to walk through fear.

NO. 5 ROADBLOCK

You are the victim of the Soap Opera Syndrome. Chaos, drama and martyrdom are keeping you from your flight. Think of Snow White. Add the neurotic seven dwarfs, each with their own cranky compulsion. Now top it all with the evil witch. That's you! That's the life you've created. If you like drama, re-write the script of your movie, so that you can become the protagonist of a happy ending. How? The Goddess Lakshmi may have a secret weapon for you to stay in your center during your dramatic multi-tasking.
